Made to mimic its big brother in every respect with the exceptions of having substituted the G-10 handle with a Griv-Ex™ one, and using the more affordable 8Cr13MoV blade steel. It still comes razor sharp and ready for your toughest task or biggest adventure.

Best for the money

I tried both models (standard and tanto), love them both and I think undeniably the best heavy duty folders you can find for the price. One shouldn't be shy about the low range 8Cr13MoV blade steel, Cold Steel definitely knew what they were doing with their heat treatment on this one. A real knife from real company at supermarket price.

Flat grind and 0,189'' thick blade, handles most camp chores like a champ. The spine is super sharp, which makes it awesome ferro rod user to light the stove in one strike or light that fire wood much more easily than using matches. I now never go trekking without it. Would buy again any time.
